Seoul just unlocked self-driving buses… and yeah, it feels like 2050 already 🤖

The city has launched fully autonomous buses that run without driver assistance across the entire route 👀

Starting with route A741, it operates in the early morning for first-shift workers, departing from Gupabal Station at 3:30 AM and looping back after Yangjae Station by 7:30 AM

This is actually Seoul’s second autonomous route, following A160, and more lines like A148 and A504 are already on the way

For now, rides are free and run as an express system, stopping at key stations only

There’s still a safety driver onboard just in case, but yeah… Seoul is really living in the future 😮‍🔥

서울시가 전 구간에서 운전자 개입 없이 운행되는 자율주행 버스를 도입했습니다 🤖

이번에 도입된 A741 노선은 새벽 출근 시민들을 위해 운영되며, 구파발역에서 새벽 3시 30분 출발해 양재역을 거쳐 오전 7시 30분 다시 돌아오는 구조입니다 👀
