The security guard involved in an incident at a hotel where Chappell Roan was staying has spoken out after reportedly confronting Ada Law.

Pascal Duvier, said he takes "full responsibility" for the interaction, which allegedly left the 11-year-old in tears while she was having breakfast with her mother.

Duvier said he was working on behalf of another individual at the hotel and was not part of Roan’s security team.

“The actions I took were not on behalf of Chappell Roan, her personal security team, her management, or any other individuals,” he said in a statement shared on Instagram.

He added that he made a “judgment call” based on information from the hotel and what he described as heightened security risks at the location.

Duvier said his interaction was “calm and with good intentions”, but acknowledged that the outcome was “regretful”.
