One of the most frequently asked questions about gynecomastia (male breast enlargement):
“Will it go away if I lose weight?”

Answer: It depends on the cause.

🔍 If the issue is fat tissue:
As you lose weight, the appearance may improve partially.

⚠️ However, if the problem is glandular tissue:
Weight loss alone will not be enough.

This distinction determines the treatment:
✔ If there is only excess fat → liposuction may be sufficient
✔ If glandular tissue is dominant → it needs to be surgically removed
