Tender is the Flesh tells the story of a man consumed by sex addiction who grows increasingly disconnected from his wife, as his compulsions drive him deeper into isolation and push their fragile marriage to the brink. A raw and emotionally intense narrative that explores intimacy, shame, and the quiet unraveling of human connection.

Daniel Rusiecki is a director, screenwriter, and editor whose work blends emotional realism with elements of Shakespearean tragedy, capturing the subtle devastations of everyday life. Currently a first-year MFA student in Screenwriting at Western Kentucky University, Daniel aspires to create films that linger — stories that don’t just entertain, but haunt, challenge, and invite deeper reflection.

Originally from St. Petersburg, Florida, Daniel is an ISA Student Fellowship recipient and continues to develop projects that explore psychological and existential themes. His current work includes Modernity, a short proof-of-concept centered around religious and academic horror.
