If you are looking for the first dev job - APPLY to job listings which require up to 3 years of experience. It’s probably completely fine to be a dev with 10 years of experience and not to aim to become a senior. I’ve seen people like this. But there are also examples when self taught people with STRONG PORTFOLIOS can be really good and hit mid level dev label in a year after joining a company. Your portfolio is your experience.
