Jim Ross on Grilling JR said Sable belongs in the WWE Hall of Fame and that her absence is wrong.

"She certainly deserved it, and she caused a stir. She made the company a lot of money, she became a star, a big star. For me, she's not in the Hall of Fame and that's wrong. She should be, and hopefully that'll come to pass sooner than later."

Ross said the decision ultimately rests with Triple H and Brock Lesnar, and that time is running out for Sable to be included in this year's class: "The time is running out for her to be put into the Hall of Fame, in my opinion, for this year."
​
The comments come after Marc Mero appeared on Chris Van Vliet's show and made the same argument for Sable's induction.
​
Sable was one of the most visible figures in WWE during the Attitude Era. She held the WWE Women's Championship, appeared on multiple Playboy covers, and was a major contributor to the record ratings WWE achieved in the late 1990s.
