MERRY CHRISTMAS EVE! But, before the festivities get into full swing, I just wanted to take a moment to say THANK YOU ♥️

The messages, comments and kindness I received last week after sharing about Grandma’s house sale honestly floored me. But not just the, all year. The love, the support, the quiet check-ins and shared stories… I see it all, and I feel it more than you know.

This year will feel strange for me, as it will for so many. An empty chair at the table. A big first Christmas without someone you love. Christmas has a way of amplifying everything, especially for those who are grieving, feeling lonely, or quietly struggling with their mental health.

Christmas traditions will feel different this year. My first Christmas not spending it with Grandma. No annual Christmas Day photo while we’re prepping (hindering) dinner. No reminding her who’s bought what. No sharing a sherry in the kitchen. Those little, ordinary moments suddenly feel like the biggest ones.

So before the festivities get into full swing, if you’re feeling overwhelmed, or it all feels a little bittersweet, please know that’s okay. Take a moment for yourself. Step outside, find a quiet corner, breathe, and let yourself feel whatever comes up without guilt or pressure to be “fine”.

Thank you again for sticking with me this year, for your kindness, and for being such a lovely corner of the internet. I’m sending so much love to anyone navigating the next week with a heavy heart 🤍
