Thank you to Panza's Restaurant for hosting our Dine to Donate last night! It was a beautiful evening, filled with many familiar faces dining in support of the Foundation’s mission to preserve and enhance Saratoga Springs’ unique architectural, cultural, and landscaped heritage.⁠

Panza’s has been a part of Saratoga’s rich history for more than 80 years. What began as a bakery in Mechanicville in 1897 grew into a culinary legacy for more than five generations. In 1938, Ma Panza and Anthony Gouckey opened The Starlight Room on Saratoga Lake, creating a gathering place for food lovers. Today, Panza’s continues that tradition at 129 South Broadway, serving homemade Italian dishes crafted with fresh ingredients in a warm and inviting atmosphere. The building, originally home to The Trade Winds, was built by local stonemasons, the Caparoni family, in the 1960s.⁠

We are grateful to Panza’s for their support of historic preservation and for continuing to serve up delicious meals and lasting memories. Here’s to many more years of tradition, community, and incredible food! 🍽️⁠
