BREAKING: The Fertittas, owners of the Houston Rockets, are purchasing the Connecticut Sun and are expected to relocate the franchise to Houston in 2027.

The agreement is “unofficially done,” but the team is expected to be renamed the Houston Comets who won four consecutive championships from 1997-2000.
