Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders are the fastest growing ethnic group in the U.S., and make up 7.7% of the total U.S. population. Yet no data exists on the experiences of AAPI girls and gender-expansive youth. Let’s change that! 

Are you 14-22 years old, are a girl or are gender-expansive youth, identify as Asian American or Pacific Islander*? If so, you’re eligible to participate in the first-ever national study on AAPI girls run by girlsleadership, a national educational nonprofit teaching girls to exercise the power of their voice.

Valid participants will receive a sticker designed by our AAPI Youth Research Council member Lou. And will be entered to win these prizes: a signed copy of Crying in H Mart, Amazing: Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders Who Inspire Us, or Everything I Never Told You, a Rilakkuma lavender plush toy, a Phenomenally Asian t-shirt, a Never Have I Ever Poster, and $100 worth of cupcakes from sprinklescupcakes.

*AAPI includes those who identify as biracial, multi-racial, adoptees, and trans-racial adoptees, Filipino, Vietnamese, Central Asian, East Asian/Southeast Asian, South Asian, and Native Hawaiian and/or Pacific Islander, and documented and undocumented girls and gender-expansive youth.
