Jesus was nailed to the cross and sacrificed himself for us. 🙏🏻 

I have been extra emotional this Holy Week knowing I haven’t been a “perfect” Catholic. I also have never mentioned myself being catholic to my platform in fear of being judged or treated differently. Jesus died on the cross in public, why should I be keeping my religion private? Money, fame, material possessions do not come with you to eternal life and my goal is eternal life with Jesus. It’s my duty as a child of God to spread his message and maybe help someone discover him and become closer to him. 

He loves us unconditionally. In a world full of sin, he is always sitting there with his arms wide open waiting for us to come to him. I strive to live a life loving like Jesus did. Expressing an open heart to people who have wronged me, because truly what would Jesus do? 

I haven’t been perfect, I have honestly strayed away from Jesus since starting social media and lost myself and my faith for a while. This year I am grateful to have been actively changing that. I went to confession for the first time in two years, I have been attending mass, and guess what? Jesus was right there waiting for me with love. 

As Holy Week starts I have been so emotional. Seeing the state of the world, my heart aches. Praying for everyone who has been affected by EVERYTHING going on in this earthly world. My nana who is the most devoted Catholic I know has been sick for the last 2 years which has been really hard on my family. She used to wake up at 4 am every morning with her little prayer book to pray for everyone who asked her to pray for them. She isn’t quite able to do that anymore, so I would like to offer anyone who would like me to pray for them to dm me please. If there is one thing I can do for my nana, it is to try and continue what she has done for others through Christ. 🙏🏻❤️
