cuando tenia 16 años me mudé de Honduras a Houston y conseguí #miprimerachamba en un parque de trampolines.

a los 18, me fui a estudiar a uflorida y conseguí trabajo como hostess y mesera en swamprestaurant. 

a los 20, me convertí en bartender de whitebuffalognv y therangegnv, donde trabajé hasta que me gradué a los 22.

luego fui editora en the_newsette, donde estuve por 2+ años hasta que mi negocio de redes sociales me permitió renunciar y convertirme en mi propia jefa. 

el punto es que he estado trabajando desde que tengo 16 años, y este mes fue extra especial porque terminé de pagar mi primer carro, el cual compré en el 2018 usando mis ahorros.

por 6 años, Tiggy (por Tiguan 🤪), ha sido un símbolo de mi independencia y libertad. ha tenido una placa de Florida y una de Texas. me ha visto reír, llorar, cantar (bien feo), recibir un ticket (los policías de Louisiana son lo peor), y pedir miles de cafes en drive-thrus de Starbucks. sobretodo, me ha llevado a todos los lugares que he necesitado ir, y ahora, es completamente mío. 🤍

when I was 16, I moved from Honduras to Houston and got a minimum wage job at a trampoline park.

at 18, I started going to uflorida and got a job as a hostess/waitress at swamprestaurant.

at 20, I started bartending at whitebuffalognv and therangegnv until I graduated at 22.

I then became an editor at the_newsette while simultaneously building a side biz as a content creator, which is now my sole source of income.

all this to say, I’ve been working my 🍑 off since I was 16. and this month is extra special because I finished paying off my first car, which I bought entirely on my own back in 2018.

for 6 years, Tiggy (bc Tiguan 🤪) has symbolized my work ethic, independence, and unbridled freedom. it’s seen me roadtrip all over the US, from snowy mountains to scorching hot deserts, tiny backroads to 6-lane highways. it’s had a Florida license plate and a Texas license plate. it’s seen me laugh, cry, sing a little too loudly, get a ticket (Louisiana cops suck), and buy dozens of lattes at Starbucks drive-thrus. most importantly, it’s gotten me everywhere I’ve needed to go, and today, it is entirely mine. 🤍
