US Club Soccer remains committed to improving and supporting the game through referee development. At the recent id2 National Training Camp in Chula Vista, a group of referees participated in a course with access to mentors and top professionals. This experience, which was financially covered by US Club Soccer, included fitness testing, classroom and field sessions, and personal evaluations with real-time feedback.
 
Enhancing referee education across the country is a key pillar of the Players First philosophy and will play a significant part in the expansion of the id2 program.
