If you're wondering how this is happening it's because the hot water inside the jar turns into vapor when it's boiled and pushes the air out of the bottle. Then when the vapor cools it turns back into liquid water creating a different air pressure between the inside and outside of the jar. Since the pressure is higher outside, air rushes into the jar AND the balloon making it expand!
