A jury convicted a 36-year-old Queens man of aggravated manslaughter but acquitted him of the top count of first-degree murder in the 2024 killing of NYPD Det. Jonathan Diller of Massapequa Park.

Jurors also found defendant Guy Rivera also guilty of first-degree attempted murder of a police sergeant and two weapon charges.
