First up Yann Gomes! A criminal justice major, Yann has been dedicated and a hardworking presence on the court. Always bringing energy and commitment to the team. He recorded both 24 services aces and 23 digs as a personal high here at Rutgers Newark, continuing to grow and contribute whenever his number was called! ‼️Favorite Moment‼️: “My favorite moment was being top 150 in the nation in aces per set my junior year.” ‼️What Lesson Would You Take With You In The Future‼️: “One lesson I’ll take with me in the future is being okay with making mistakes, they’re a part of being able to grow.” ‼️What Advice Would You Give‼️: “My advice would be to step out of your comfort zone more often and try new things, it’s the best way to learn and grow.” It’s been great watching you grow with this program over the years and will miss your dedication.
