Our very own Dr. Samer Shamieh, AVALA Chief Medical Officer & Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon, Fellowship Trained Spine Surgeon, had the privilege of speaking with the bright minds in the Department of Orthopedics at LSU Health Shreveport this morning.
 
A businessman at heart with an unwavering passion for serving his community, Dr. Shamieh shared valuable insights into the often-overlooked business side of working in healthcare. His experience and perspective gave students a deeper understanding of how strong leadership, smart decision-making, and compassion can work hand in hand to create meaningful change in medicine.
