​That is a pawsome question:) The short answer is: yes, they probably can. But we actually prefer it that way. ​We always say it’s much better for a toy to be "destructible" than for it to be harder than your pet’s teeth. Safety first, we’d rather the line break than a tooth. ​The best part? If they do chew through it, you can simply knot the line back together. Plus, every kit comes with plenty of line so you can freshen it up whenever you need to. ​We designed our kits to be a "together toy." While Pounce does have an automatic mode for pets you trust not to chew, most cats play best when their human is watching anyway.
