The label says healthy. Your body pays the price.🚨

India has 212 million diabetics, and a lot of it starts with what we think is “healthy” food.

Here’s what’s actually on the label vs. what they want you to believe:

❌ “High Protein” bar → 3–5g of protein. More sugar than a biscuit. Real protein starts at 20g.

❌ “No Added Sugar” jam → Sweetened with jaggery or date syrup. Same blood sugar spike. Just better PR.

❌ “Baked Not Fried” chips → 10–15 fewer calories per serving. You still eat the whole bag because it feels guilt-free.

The front of the pack is marketing. The back is the truth. Most people never flip it over.

YOUR 4-STEP LABEL CHECK

1. Always flip to the back first — nutrition panel over front claims, every time.
2. Check grams per serving, not per 100g — brands use this trick to make numbers look smaller.
3. Read the first 3 ingredients — that’s what you’re mostly eating, regardless of what the front says.
4. Count the sugar aliases — jaggery, honey, date syrup, fruit concentrate, anything ending in “-ose” — it all counts.

You don’t need to avoid packaged food. You just need to stop letting the packaging make your decisions.

Save this before your next grocery run.

Share it with someone who still trusts the front of the pack.

Which of these three has fooled you before? Comment below & I will reply to everyone!
