Congratulations to Jackson State alumna SherRhonda Gibbs, Ph.D., on being selected as the 24th President of Texas College. With this appointment, Gibbs becomes the first woman to lead the institution since its founding in 1894.

⁠Gibbs holds a Ph.D. in business administration with a concentration in management from Jackson State University.
