I remember learning about affirmations and manifestation back in 2006 after watching The Secret✨ Who remembers that? From that point on, I started creating vision boards and truly stated to believe that whatever I wanted, I could achieve. 

I truly believe there’s power in how we speak and what we surround ourselves with. Even in motherhood. If you’re a mom then you know motherhood is hard af. There’s a constant worry that you may be screwing these kids up… I probably yell way more than I’d like to admit… lose my patience quick and wonder if I’m giving these kids enough individual time. 

But then there are days like the other day when I was picking up Emme’s room while she was at school, and I came across all these little notes she had written to herself the night before…sweet reminders in her own words 🫶🏼 In that moment, it really hit me… children don’t just listen to what we say, they absorb what we do. It is our actions that truly shape them. 

She’s grown up in a house filled with intention, love and hella affirmations all over the place. She’s seen my vision boards, she’s heard me talk about them and I love that this is in her nature now too💗
