"One of my favorite moments at Rutgers is getting Starbucks with my friends from Rutgers Futures Scholars. Despite being seemingly small outings, they hold immense significance as I witness my friends' tremendous growth and achievements, who have become like family to me."

Graduate 🎓: Teresa Osorio

Major(s) and Minor(s) 🧠: Biology, Minors in Chemistry and Spanish

Self-Given Superlative ⭐️: Most Dedicated

Favorite Campus Eats 🍽️: Latin America. It is the perfect place to get fresh empanadas after a long day in the Science Building.

Favorite Class 📚: Of all the classes I've taken at Rutgers, Principles of Biological Research is my favorite. It was the first course where I was encouraged to explore my curiosity, ask questions, and discover my passion for research. My engagement in this course motivated me to join the MARC Program and receive invaluable mentorship that has helped me academically and personally grow. Through this class, I not only gained knowledge and skills, but also lifelong friends who share a passion for science.
