The May #SpotlightCheese has arrived at your neighborhood #TraderJoes! Saint Paulin Cheese was originally created by Trappist monks in France… and now, it’s made for us in the same tradition, by the premiere cheesemakers at French Heritage™.

Saint Paulin’s vibrant, golden-orange exterior is an artifact of the traditional cheesemaking methods that are still employed in its production. As the cheese ages, it gets washed in brine to increase the presence of a particular enzyme; this enzyme helps the cheese develop its mild, buttery flavor and rich, floral aroma—and also just happens to leave a vibrantly ruddy hue.

Delectably creamy, with a smooth, semisoft consistency and totally edible rind, Saint Paulin makes an attractive addition to any charcuterie board or cheese plate. Or, for an elevated take on comfort food fare, try adding it to a grilled cheese, turkey panini, or patty melt. 🧀
