A look back at some @stambroseprism highlights from this year! ⏪
#ThrowbackThursday #PrideMonth

Promoting Respect in Sexual Minorities (PRISM) is a group for LGBTQIA+ students and allies. Growing and operating under other names (S.O.U.P and The Harbor may sound familiar to some @stambrosealumni), this group has had a presence on campus since the late 1990s!

Trip to the Stonewall Exhibit: Students and alumni traveled to Skokie, IL to view the exhibit Rise Up: Stonewall and the LGBTQ Rights Movement at the Illinois Holocaust Museum and Educational Center. Members said the trip provided a deeper understanding of these pivotal historical events.

Admitted Student Day: PRISM members met with incoming students at the Admitted Student Day Club Fair. The Class of 2026 was excited to learn about events, initiatives and most importantly, the community and sense of belonging that PRISM creates.

Gab & Java: For Multicultural Week, PRISM and PARADE (SAU’s LGBTQIA+ and ally employee affinity group) hosted a community event for National Coming Out Day where coffee and conversations were shared.

Senior Send Off: PRISM members gathered at Vander Veer Park for their last meeting of the year and bid farewell to graduating seniors!

Make sure you are following @stambroseprism to keep up with events and more! Happy Pride Month, Bees. 🏳️‍🌈
