HBCU Team Spotlight - 🎣Last month, the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff fishing team became the first HBCU to compete in the  Bassmaster College Series at Sam Rayburn Reservoir. -This is a premier competitive bass fishing tournament circuit for college teams

📍The fishing team was revived last year by student Isaiah Atoe  ic_reel4them . In an article with bass_nation , Atoe states:

“I’ve been bass fishing since I was 3,” he said. “I just started tournaments the last 3.5 years. My mom took me fishing and my dad taught me how to fish topwater and how to use jigs. He loved fishing for crappie. He always just knew how to catch fish, and a lot of those times they’d be bass.”
