I have this gut feeling that if I don’t make a plan this could just keep going.

And maybe that’s not entirely logical.
But it’s where my head is right now.

Because I think I’m too in it.

Thinking about delivering twins.
Managing the kids.
Timing.
Who needs to be where, and when.
And the weight of this being my last pregnancy.

It’s hard to fully surrender when your mind is holding onto everything at once.

Sometimes “letting go” isn’t as simple as just letting go.

So now that we do have a plan, I feel like I can exhale. It’s significantly shifted my mood and overall mental state.

My body and these boys have already done something incredible—

7 cm dilated.
100% effaced.
All without chaos or disruption.

They’ve carried me this far.

And now it’s my turn to help carry us across the finish line.

Even if that means making a choice I didn’t think I would.

Because yes, I’ve always been an advocate for spontaneous labor.

And choosing something like castor oil before 40 or 41 weeks feels complicated for me.

Like I’m breaking my own rules a little.

But maybe this isn’t about rules.

Maybe this is about feeling safe.

And right now, this is the version of birth that allows me to breathe, trust, and move forward with peace.

And that matters too.
