This is crazy! Kevin Durant has just surpassed Michael Jordan for the most points scored in the NBA all-time. Kevin Durant is now the 5th highest points scorer in NBA history, trailing only the late great Kobe Bryant, NBA legend Karl Malone, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and LeBron James. Some other active NBA players who make the top 25 points list include James Harden, Russell Westbrook, DeMar DeRozan, and Stephen Curry.

What spot all-time do you think KD finishes at? He has had a great career, winning NBA Rookie of the Year with the Seattle SuperSonics before they turned into Oklahoma City Thunder, where he then played multiple seasons in OKC. He then went on to win NBA MVP and NBA Finals MVP while winning 2 championships with future NBA Hall of Famers in Canton, Ohio such as Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, Andre Iguodala, and Steve Kerr. He then joined Kyrie Irving and James Harden to play for the Brooklyn Nets, nearly making the Eastern Conference Finals before falling short to Khris Middleton, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and the eventual NBA Champion Milwaukee Bucks. Then, he joined Bradley Beal, Devin Booker, Deandre Ayton, and former NBA champion head coach Frank Vogel. Now, he plays on the Houston Rockets. The only 4 players he has left to pass are LeBron of the Cleveland Cavaliers, Miami Heat, and Los Angeles Lakers, Kareem “the dream” and his hook shot, NBA legend Karl Malone of the Detroit Pistons, and Kobe Bryant.
