Toronto historian Adam Bunch will speak at the Spring Dinner on April 10th. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 🇨🇦 

Adam’s talk will focus on two prominent Scots from Toronto’s early history. Despite their shared homeland, William Lyon Mackenzie and Bishop John Strachan had deeply differing ideas on the role of government.

Tickets are on sale via the link in bio and the St. Andrew’s Society of Toronto website. They are $90 for Society members and $95 for non-members. Sales close on Friday, April 3 at 11:59pm. 

Bunch is an award-winning storyteller who brings the history of Toronto and Canada to life. He’s the author of The Toronto Book of the Dead, the host of the Canadiana documentary series. His is also the creator of the Toronto Time Traveller newsletter and the Toronto Dreams Project. His work has been recognized with the Governor General’s History Award for Popular Media — the Pierre Berton Award. todreamsproject
