This class is perfect for dancers interested in learning the fundamentals of jazz dance. Students will learn to fine-tune varying styles of jazz movement, with an emphasis on musicality, dynamics, and isolation of the body. Each class begins with a warm-up, where each exercise is taught and broken-down in clear detail, followed by learning a piece of choreography.⁠

Also, join us for our Decoding Ballet workshop with faculty member Annastasia Mercedes! ⁠The workshop meets once a week on Tuesdays from 7:00pm-8:30pm at the Joffrey Ballet School Manhattan studios. This 5 Week session starts April 14th 2026 - May 12th 2026. ⁠
