Are you a beginner, or adult dancer, looking for additional training? Joffrey Ballet School offers a Luigi-Inspired Jazz Technique OPEN CLASS every week!⁠

The two hour format of this jazz class will allow for an in-depth study of the technique, artistry and choreographic style of classic jazz dance. Dancers will be guided through a comprehensive explanation of a series of technique exercises designed to both warm up the body and build a solid technical jazz foundation. Next, a piece of choreography will be taught and explored. The longer format of this class will allow for a deeply detailed approach to the development of the dancers’ sense of musicality, presence and personal style through the choreography.⁠

Also, join us for our Decoding Ballet workshop with faculty member Annastasia Mercedes! ⁠The workshop meets once a week on Tuesdays from 7:00pm-8:30pm at the Joffrey Ballet School Manhattan studios. This 5 Week session starts April 14th 2026 - May 12th 2026. ⁠
