Cynthia Case is a Relationship Manager for Alpine Bank. She has been with the bank since 2018 and volunteers with Philanthropiece, a nonprofit that partners with people and organizations to co-create solutions for positive social change. 

“I have enjoyed working with Philanthropiece over the past two years as they’ve built out Financial Health Courses,” said Cynthia. “They work hard to support English and Spanish speaking community members as they establish the foundational knowledge of credit and money management.” 

Cynthia remarked the ability to coach people and see growth over the years has been inspiring. The community members that go through the courses have quite often had a hard time financially and are trying to rebuild or establish credit for the first time. 

“Being able to help someone along that path is rewarding,” added Cynthia. “It is inspiring to see someone go from a place of discouragement and lack of understanding to encouraged and seeing positive results.”
