Katie Blankenship is a personal banking representative serving customers at Alpine Bank Fruita. A six-year employee of the organization, Katie says the last two years during the pandemic have been about personal growth. She’s discovered just how important compassion and positivity are to her, emphasized through her recent grief experience. She lost her father in late 2020. 

“I like to help people who have suffered loss to feel understood and cared for,” says Katie. “Listening to someone can make their day!” 
Some of her professional accomplishments include introducing fun ice breakers at the Alpine Five daily staff meetings and being a beta tester for the bank’s new online banking platform. 

“And I’m excited to be a champion for our upcoming 50th anniversary campaign in 2023, to give back even more to our communities.”
