Did you know moving into the summer months, the waste industry typically sees a 10-15% increase of incidents in comparison with the rest of the year?

Changing environments, traffic patterns, heat, humidity, increased volumes, increased/changing pedestrian/bicycle traffic and other summer month considerations can create new or different risks on the roads.

At Waste Connections, our #1 value is Safety. Increased awareness to both safety and potential hazards reduces the risk of incidents on the road. On June 1st, our summer safety campaign, "Perfect Day of Safety" will kick- off. Take a look at members of the corporate leadership team in The Woodlands, Texas, signing the summer safety commitment banner.
