We want to wish a happy retirement to longtime driver and mentor Mike Lawrence. Mike was a driver with our team at Alaska Waste for 47 years! During those decades, he built a perfect safety record and mentored countless drivers who went on to model their own careers after his. 

In 2018, Mike was nationally recognized as the Commercial Driver of the Year by the National Waste & Recycling Association. He truly built a career that earned him the title “Safety Mike.” Please join us in wishing Mike a happy retirement!
