Drake had Nelly Furtado in tears as he inducted his "dear friend" into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame at the 2026 Juno Awards. In a video message, the Toronto rap star called the "Like a Bird" singer “one of my favourite human beings and one of my favourite artists of all time.
“As a Canadian… I used you as my motivation and proof that it was possible,” he said, praising Nelly for breaking barriers in the industry: “There were no ceilings, no walls, no boundaries...I’m so proud of you” 😭 🇨🇦
