Natalie Huertas applied to go to Georgia Tech multiple times. In 2019, at age 26, she was diagnosed with acute promyelocytic leukemia. Natalie decided to continue pursuing her dream school and wrote a portion of her admissions essay during treatment. 

Now, she holds a master's degree in digital media and last weekend's Commencement ceremony marked the third-year anniversary of being in remission 💪🎓💛 #WeCanDoThat #GT23 #RamblinOn
