I would’ve punched the clinician, idk how the patient laid there and let this happen. Again tho, I’m not going to say it’s wrong just cause I’ve never seen it, but i sure as hell am saying it ain’t right. 
Needling can be used as a tremendous resource to get tissue response and improve healing. I use them a lot in my practice and have had INCREDIBLE results. But I’m not sticking anyone like a porcupine either that’s for damn sure. 
Dry needle clinicians, where do you stand on this? 
This seems out of pocket.
