## Caption

One of our favorite scenic drives in North Georgia is Highway 197 North from Clarkesville up towards Clayton. This beautiful drive winds along the Soque River and past Lake Burton through the mountains. If you've made this drive, you've driven right by, or perhaps stopped to check out, markofthepotter  along the way. This unique shop is located inside an old grist mill on the banks of the Soque, but it now houses some of North Georgia's finest pottery. The owners also recently renovated the upstairs into a very unique vacation rental space with unparalleled views of the river.
