🛒 Grocery Run for Karnıyarık: Turkish-Stuffed Eggplants!

We’re prepping for a delicious Turkish feast, and step one is hitting the market for all the essentials! From tender eggplants to fragrant spices, every ingredient plays a role in creating the perfect Karnıyarık—a classic Turkish stuffed eggplant dish.

🍆 What’s on the list?
✔️ 4 large deep purple globe eggplants (about 7 inches long)
✔️ 3 tomatoes
✔️ 1 medium yellow onion, chopped
✔️ 1 Turkish Sivri Biber (or substitute a mild green chili)
✔️ 1 bundle of Italian flat-leaf parsley
✔️ 1 head of Garlic
✔️ 1/2 lb ground beef (80/20)
✔️ 1/2 lb ground lamb
✔️ Kosher salt
✔️ Black pepper
✔️ Ground cumin
✔️ Turkish red pepper/tomato paste (find it at a Mediterranean market or online)
