“To #BeABluejay means being surrounded by people who support your growth, not just as a student, but as a person.” For Olivia Stava, a biology pre-med junior from Grand Island, Nebraska, that encouragement has shaped both her experience and her future.

Olivia knew Creighton was the right place from the moment she stepped on campus. Being surrounded by people who shared her values and ambitions made it easy to picture herself here.

“I realized they were exactly the type of people I wanted to surround myself with,” she says. “Creighton prepares students not only to enter their future professional paths, but to become well-rounded and thoughtful people as well.”

Since then, Olivia has found a community that continues to push and inspire her. Through academics, campus involvement and meaningful relationships, she’s built friendships she knows will last long after graduation.

“I have no doubt that the connections I have made on campus will be lifelong,” she shares. “The community here supports your growth and helps you become the best version of yourself.”
