free may be a loose term. it’s more of an collaboration exchange. you still need to do something for it. nothing is free in life. 

just the main thing honestly: shoot your shot. be confident. look at social media nowadays. most trending/popular pieces of content are filmed on iPhone. yes having professional gear will get you more work [obviously] but it’s not everything. 

content is easy. stop over complicating it.
