You can’t do a ‘Schitt’s Creek’ sequel series without Catherine O’Hara. ❤️

Dan Levy got emotional on CBS Sunday Morning when he revealed how although he was thinking of developing a sequel series for the hit CBC show, it wouldn’t be right without Catherine.

When asked if Dan would revive the series he responded with, “No, not now. You can’t.”

“I was thinking about it. Yeah,” Dan told CBS Sunday Morning’s Anthony Mason while they revisted Goodwood, Ontario, the town where the hit show was filmed.

He then broke down thinking of all the memories he had with Catherine while they were filming the Emmy-winning series in the small Ontario town.

“It’s what you have to hold on to. The memories of it all.”

Catherine O’Hara passed away in January 2026 from a pulmonary embolism while quietly battling rectal cancer. 🕊️
