## Caption

We hear them every spring. 🐸 That deafening sound coming from N.J. wetlands this time of year is courtesy of the spring peeper. (Pseudacris crucifer) if you prefer their scientific name. This loud, but tiny and super cute frog species make their way from their winter dwellings to breed in ponds. The males sing their unmistakable chorus to attract females. It’s a sort of love song. Have you heard spring peepers in your area yet?🎥 📷 Division of Fish and Wildlife, Getty
