Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift will be Universal Studios Hollywood’s first-ever high-speed outdoor roller coaster, representing a major addition to the park’s Upper Lot. The attraction will feature groundbreaking 360-degree rotating ride vehicles designed to simulate the sensation of drifting cars as the coaster races through the track. The coaster will reach speeds of up to 72 miles per hour while traveling along 4,100 feet of track, the equivalent of nearly twelve football fields. The track will soar above sections of the theme park and even pass over the Starway escalators, which connect the Upper Lot and Lower Lot at Universal Studios Hollywood. Inside the load platform, guests will also see a large-scale mural created by internationally recognized artist Tristan Eaton. The artwork depicts a dramatic street racing scene inspired by the original Fast & Furious film and includes a tribute to Dominic Toretto.
