@calfire is hiring for a Forestry Logistics Officer I  position in Fortuna, CA. 

Help keep CAL FIRE running smoothly by making sure our crews have the equipment, supplies, and services they need to protect California’s forests and communities. This role is all about getting the right resources to the right place at the right time. 

In this role, you'll be responsible for purchasing and managing essential fire equipment, supplies, and services to support CAL FIRE operations. This includes working closely with vendors to evaluate products and negotiate pricing, handling bids, preparing contracts for goods and maintenance services, and ensuring all deliveries meet required specifications. You will also oversee the operation of supply centers, which involves the handling of equipment and fire provisions to crews in the field. 

In this role, you’ll be eligible for various benefits such as: 
Base Salary ($4,422.00-$5,724.00) monthly 
Medical Benefits (including health, dental, vision) 
Other Pay Differentials
