Today and everyday, we celebrate the incredible connection between people, wildlife and the places that help protect it. 

Zoos like ours here in Toronto aren’t just about seeing amazing animals up close; we are proud to be a Canadian and international leader in conservation, education, research, science and action for a more sustainable future.

Here at your Toronto Zoo, that mission comes to life every day. As one of the largest zoos in the world, we are home to over 3,000 animals representing more than 300 species from around the globe. Through immersive habitats and world-class care, we create meaningful experiences that inspire guests and members to connect with wildlife and understand their role in protecting it.

Guided by our Strategic Plan, we are focused on becoming a community-funded, conservation-driven organization that puts wildlife first.
