After more than 40 years as a Red Devil, men's and women's cross country head coach Don Nichter has announced his retirement at the end of the 2026 XC season ❤️

At Dickinson though, Coach Nichter's immense impact extends far beyond the wins, losses, statistics, and records set by numerous athletes. Coach Nichter has served as a mentor to hundreds if not thousands of student-athletes emphasizing a philosophy that prioritized academic integrity as well as personal growth alongside athletic performance.
