@mamaricottas is my happy place and my favorite Italian restaurant in Charlotte. It was the first place I found a penne vodka that reminded me of home. And I love my penne vodka ! 🫶🍷

Check out the brand new menu items and their recent renovations. This is a family favorite and a great place to take MOM 💐 for Mother’s Day this weekend. 

🍚 SHORT RIB ARANCINI 
Fried balls of risotto and tender beef short rib served with our tomato basil sauce 

🧀 FRESH STRACCIATELLA CHEESE PLATE 
Soft fresh mozzarella shreds in rich cream topped with lemon zest, olive oil and pistachios accompanied by soppresatta, oven-dried tomatoes and giardiniera 

🥗 GREEK YOGURT CAESAR SALAD 
With crispy garlic breadcrumbs and Pecorino Romano 

🍝 PASTAS 
PAPPARDELLE WITH TOMATO BASIL SAUCE 
House made pappardelle tossed with sweet, slow-cooked San Marzano Roma tomato sauce and topped with fresh basil (make it spicy with Calabrian chilis +$$) 

HOUSE RADIATORE WITH MEAT SAUCE 
A Scibelli family recipe made with ground beef, pork, veal and Italian plum tomatoes over fresh radiatore pasta 

ITALIAN SAUSAGE RAVIOLI 
Ravioloni stuffed with Italian sauage and mascarpone served in a light tomato sauce with Italian butter

CHIANTI BRAISED SHORT RIB 
12-hour, slow-braised short rib over house pappardelle, cipollini onions and local kale

🍰 DESSERT 
Carrot Cake 
Rich creamcheese-frosted carrot cake with bananas, walnuts and pineapple baked in. Served with salted caramel sauce and homemade oat crumble
