Tillman Scholar spotlight! 🐝 Building Community Through Beekeeping.

2023 Tillman Scholar, David Hibler, is an Army veteran who, through beekeeping, is helping veterans across Ohio reconnect with purpose, mindfulness, and one another after service.

Now pursuing his PhD at Ohio State University with support from the Pat Tillman Foundation, David leads a veteran beekeeping program in partnership with the Central Ohio Beekeepers Association and Ohio State University. This past week, he had the opportunity to speak at studentvets NATCON, introducing veterans to the practice and its mental health benefits while building community along the way.
