At last week’s Tillman Honor’s Gala, Larry Fitzgerald Jr. received the Champion Award, which honors Pat Tillman’s legacy and belief that we should always strive to be part of something bigger than ourselves. We recognize those whose remarkable civic contributions, extraordinary fortitude, and spirit of service inspire us to be better every day.

We recognized larryfitzgerald’s 17-season NFL career as a wide receiver with the Arizona Cardinals, his dedication as a philanthropist, investor, and business leader and his commitment to the veteran and military community and continued support of the Pat Tillman Foundation.

“I stand here with you today still doing my very best to live up to Pat’s legacy of service, honor, and sacrifice,” Fitzgerald said. “I’m honored to accept this award on behalf of the brave service members, veterans, and military families who inspire me every single day.”
